Founder & CEO

The work behind the name.

Jennifer E. Mahone-Rightler spent more than two decades in Fortune 50 executive seats, Boeing among them, in the human resources chairs where leadership stops being an idea and becomes a consequence. She sat in the succession rooms where careers were decided in an afternoon. She sat in the restructuring rooms where a spreadsheet acquired names. She watched the most sophisticated enterprises on earth engineer their revenue to the decimal while leaving their leadership to chance, and she watched, over and over, who paid for that wager: the capable, the quiet, the load-bearing.

That vantage is the firm's founding asset. Not theory gathered at a distance, but pattern earned at the table: how boards actually choose, how successors actually surface, how capacity actually fails, quietly first, then all at once. Her work has carried across twenty-eight countries, and the pattern holds in every one of them. Organizations do not lack leaders. They lack the architecture to see them, build them, and keep them.

Then she went quiet for a year. Not absent, building. What emerged is The House of RightStar: one firm, seven houses, one voice. RightStar builds. S.A.L.E. operates. The Architect publishes. The Collection equips. The Catalyst drives. The Vanguard scales. The Cornerstone lifts. A consulting practice, an institute, an editorial platform, a product house, and an impact architecture, each carrying the same conviction: leadership is not a program. It is an architecture, and architecture can be designed.

Jennifer is the author of the North Star Series, the publisher and editor in chief of The Architect - The Magazine, and the architect of the Leadership Architecture Index, the Capacity Deficit, the Recognition Gap, and the frameworks that carry the firm's name. She advises boards holding transitions, chief executives holding restructures, and the leaders their organizations have not yet priced.

She signs every deliverable herself. That is not a formality. It is the standard.

She sat in the rooms. Now she builds them.

Chief Revenue Officer

Principal, The Vanguard

Chief Revenue Officer

Predictable growth built on trust.

Tom Dillard has spent three decades building revenue engines for enterprise software companies, and performing at the very top of them. At BlackLine, he was twice ranked the number one revenue producer worldwide, once through the depths of COVID, and closed the two largest transactions in company history, anchored by Walmart and Disney. He grew the firm's million-dollar account base from two clients to ten, built and led a thirty-person revenue organization with the lowest turnover in the company, and established the Deloitte partnership that opened an entirely new channel of growth.

Across BlackLine, Sage, and Infor, Tom's signature has been the same: predictable revenue built on high-trust, high-accountability teams. Leaders he developed went on to run regions and continents. Forecasts he owned held within ten percent, quarter after quarter, at enterprise scale.

At RightStar, Tom serves as Chief Revenue Officer, driving revenue strategy across the full House of RightStar in partnership with Founder & CEO Jennifer E. Mahone-Rightler. From consulting engagements to institutes, products, and enterprise programs, he brings one discipline to every house: predictable growth built on trust. He also serves as Principal of The Vanguard, the house where RightStar's leadership architecture meets enterprise revenue operations.

Fractional Chief of Staff

The operating architecture.

Elleana Mahone is the operating architecture behind the work. As Fractional Chief of Staff for RightStar Consulting Partners and the S.A.L.E. Institute, she translates strategic vision into the systems, rhythms, and communication that keep a fast-moving firm aligned, accountable, and moving: strategy from plan through follow-through, the operating cadence across every workstream, and the standards that let a lean team perform well above its size.

Her perspective is grounded in the work itself. Elleana came up through the firm across brand, content, and grant strategy, building many of the systems she now oversees. She knows how the pieces work because she built them, and her steady, exacting approach protects the two things RightStar does not compromise: brand integrity and execution discipline.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Revenue Officer, Elleana holds the center of the firm's daily operations and leads its part-time team. Vision needs an operator. Elleana keeps the architecture standing.
